Who Am I?
What does it mean to be born again? Exodus 3 tells of the story of Moses who was ordered by God to lead the oppressed people out of Egypt. Initially, Moses had doubts and even questioned whether or not the Israelites would follow his lead. And God knew that the King of Egypt would resist, so he vowed to perform a host of miracles to the Egyptians so they would have faith in Moses and shower him with gifts.
Even in the midst of uncertainty, Moses made the decision not only to lend a listening hear to God’s voice, but actually follow God’s orders. In man’s eyes, he was not qualified to lead, but he went, anyhow, and changed the world solely on the strength of a promise from God. And as believers, that same supernatural power is available to us.
But just like Moses, we have a responsibility to act upon God’s commands of us, even if we have reservations. But how often do we turn away from God in the midst of fear and uncertainty?
It’s not enough to simply believe in God’s word. We must desire to go to that deeper place in our relationship with him by seeking him wholeheartedly and following his lead. God has called each of us to serve a unique purpose, but it’s up to us to go when ordered. And as our faith in him is strengthened, we can be a light to others around us.
If you’re ready to take the next step in your relationship with Christ, I encourage you to get a copy of my teaching titled “Who Am I.” In the message, I provide the blueprint to seek God, even in the midst of trials and tribulations, in order to receive clarity on your purpose and uplift the kingdom.
Be the light others need to see and make a difference in the lives of those around you!
God bless you!
