Many of us have been taught that to reach our full potential we must be the one in charge and at the top. While I believe that we should all strive to reach our potential, it doesn’t necessarily mean that every path ends in the chair of a CEO. Stay with me; I’m going somewhere with this.
Sometimes, the most significant impact you can make at work, at church, or any other organization is not from the front or the top. The story of Joseph is a perfect example. Beginning with Genesis 39 the Bible reveals the story of how Joseph was sold into slavery, wrongly imprisoned, and yet he became the senior aide to Pharaoh. You may have also endured difficult or unfair situations in your own life, but know that God has something BIG in store for you. Although Joseph never held the top seat of authority, God positioned him to save an entire region and his own family from absolute disaster.
I don’t know the seat you are currently in, but allow God to use you right where you are. Only He knows the impact and influence you can have seated in the chair He has placed you.
With that in mind, I want to “Thank You” for generously and faithfully supporting this ministry by offering you a free download of my sermon, “Discovering your Crowbar” from my Successful Servant Series. It will encourage you to remain humble and focused while on the road to obtaining God’s promises for your life, positioned in whatever chair you find yourself occupying. You may encounter some twists and turns along the way but remember, it’s all preparation for the ultimate seat of blessing God has in store for you.
