Have you ever reached a place in your life where you have nothing left? Where you’re desperate for answers, for help, for hope, and you’ve done all that you can do on your own? In Mark 5, we find the account of a man named Jairus who was in this very place.
Mark 5:22-23 tells us pretty much everything we need to know about Jairus: “Then a leader of the local synagogue, whose name was Jairus, arrived. When he saw Jesus, he fell at his feet, pleading fervently with him. ‘My little daughter is dying,’ he said. ‘Please come and lay your hands on her; heal her so she can live.’”
