One of the ways I’ve learned to deal with crisis is to feed my faith. What does that mean? Well, in days of hardship, when I’ve suffered physically, emotionally, mentally, and in other ways—I stayed in the Word of God.
I know that sounds cliché, but it’s true. I would read narratives of other people who were going through the same challenges that I was—I would see how they handled their situations in faith. As I did this, I was feeding my own faith. My assurance in God and His promises grew, and my perspective was changed day by day. It was just a matter of time before I was able to really live out those things I was reading.
