In the message, Dr. Grier explains how to ward off attacks of the enemy and obey God’s commands, even at your weakest moments, so your faith can be elevated to new heights. God wants to embrace you in the midst of your storm so he can fight all your battles, but you must fully submit to him so he can unleash his supernatural power in your life.
There will come a time in your life where experiencing everything God has promised you will only happen when you step out in faith and fully rely on Him.
We prepare and equip them to be who God has called them to be. None of us are perfect parents, and we will mess up, but when we do, it’s important to admit our wrongdoing to God.
When you trust God, you will not always get it. It might not always make sense… you might not even know where you’re going. But when you trust Him, you look back and wonder, and realize that it all made sense.
It’s easy to proclaim God’s goodness when things are going well in your life. But when things take a turn for the worst, you can struggle to trust God to work it all out in your favor. It’s in these moments that God undergirds your faith to take you to the next level.
When you are encouraged to seek attention, fame, or notoriety, think about the humility of Jesus. God recognized and brought attention to Jesus at the right time and He will do the same for you.
God may at times ask us to do things that we may not agree with but trust Him. Our traditions will make us not want to follow, but remember while some traditions are important, God will never lead you to do something contrary to His Word. He may only be asking you to change your methods and to set you up for something greater than you can even imagine.
Just as Adam brought sin into the world and passed it from one generation to the next, in the resurrection, Jesus Christ defeated death and sin and is passing life and resurrection to those who follow Him in faith and trust. When Jesus returns for us we will taunt death as it used to taunt us.
Regardless of the circumstances, we have to learn to keep our head up and our eyes focused on God. We all experience tragedy and challenging times, but we cannot let our emotions rule us and we especially can’t allow our emotions to keep us from reaching out to and trusting God for our deliverance and peace. God may wait until it seems impossible. The He will do the impossible, and only God can get the credit and the glory.
Whose cross are you carrying? Who are you living for, other than yourself? You must have faith that all God promised will manifest in every area of your life. When you look away from your trials and trouble, you’ll be able to see the triumph that is at play everyday thanks to a good Father. The key is to trust in His Word that He is faithful and just, and will bless your life.
