Is your relationship with God based on how well your life is going? Many people have no trouble putting faith and trust in God when everything in their life is going well. But, when things start to go wrong, they are quick to turn from God. As believers, we should strive to keep our faith in God, even when everything in our lives is going wrong. When we put our lives in God’s hands, He does big things through us for His Kingdom!
Are you following the plan that God has for your life? We shouldn’t be obedient in pursuit of blessings, rewards, or the benefits we reap. Our obedience should come from a place of respect and love for our God—our Savior. When we are obedient to God’s guidance in our lives and recognize Him as our source of strength, we start to experience the blessings that ensue!
Are you trustworthy? The answer to this question may vary, especially depending on who you ask! As believers, Christ has called us to be consistent and trustworthy. But how can we go about being trusted—what does it really mean to be trustworthy? Gaining trust is a long process, which takes both intentionality and time!
As we prepare to venture into a new year, it’s important to evaluate the challenges and struggles we faced during the last twelve months. God uses everything for His purposes; so what were the storms you faced in 2019 all about?
When it’s all over, our lives will not be measured by the achievements on our walls, the money in our bank accounts, or what people say about us. God will measure our lives based on what He has assigned us to do and who He assigned us to be.
When you want God to move in our circumstances, how do you approach Him? Have you adequately positioned yourself in the place of humility and released your faith to believe that God can supply whatever you need? When you come to God, be honest with Him and allow Him to build your faith to believe that what looks impossible is possible through Him.
Many of us feel as if we are at the end of our rope. Be encouraged and know that when we let go of the rope we’ve been holding on to God can take control and get us to the place where He wants us to be. It may not be easy, but the when you “Let It Go” you allow God to do what He wants to do in your life.
