Jesus affirms the reliability and authenticity of the Scriptures by quoting examples and consistencies in God’s Laws from King David. Jesus affirms the purpose of the Sabbath and explains how it should be enjoyed. Jesus always acts for the good of others. Jesus is Lord of the Sabbath and wants us to rest in all that He has provided.
Whose cross are you carrying? Who are you living for, other than yourself? You must have faith that all God promised will manifest in every area of your life. When you look away from your trials and trouble, you’ll be able to see the triumph that is at play everyday thanks to a good Father. The key is to trust in His Word that He is faithful and just, and will bless your life.
One way to have a closer relationship with God is to do what Jesus did while He was on Earth. Jesus chose to take time to pray. In fact, the Bible says it was “His custom” to seek time with His Father. Jesus had His priorities in order. Now, it’s our turn! The level of Word you sit under determines the level of Word you live under. It’s not enough to get it right in our hearts, but also, to get it right in our heads.

They are the choices that keep you up at night, that weigh on your shoulders, and cause you to stress… Should you buy a house? Can you afford to start a family? What if you lose your job? WHO do you listen to when you’re worried? Who tells you NOT to be afraid?
