How are we to react when facing opposition from the enemy when we’ve done nothing wrong? Daniel chapter 6 recounts the story of Daniel who was promoted by the king as ruler over the entire empire, but thrown into the lion’s den before his appointment even started due to false accusations by other officers and political opponents. But God set him free, unharmed.
During the entire ordeal, Daniel didn’t shy away from his faith, but kept his trust in God despite the deceptive schemes the enemy used to trap him and prepared to deal with the consequences. And because he trusted in God despite the opposition, he was able to sleep peacefully in a den of ferocious lions and be released from bondage.
The beauty of this story is what the enemy designed to destroy Daniel turned into his testimony. Not even a pack of ferocious lions could destroy him. So, when we are oppressed by the enemy because of a work God has done in our lives, we must continue to trust in God and praise him in advance for the miracle he will perform.
If you’re in the midst of a difficult situation and don’t see the light at the end of the tunnel, I encourage you to get a copy of my teaching, “The Pit Dug for You.” The message provides a detailed explanation of how Daniel remained strong in his faith during the attack of the enemy. It also explains how God can perform a miracle in your life if you trust him during your storm, regardless of what it looks like.
Embrace your divine opportunity today and bring God into your life and experience His goodness and grace in every facet of your life.
God bless you!
