Are you struggling right now to make ends meet and to provide financial security for you and your loved ones? Getting your finances in order can be challenging, but there’s a God-given principle that can help you turn your financial situation around. While it may seem counter-intuitive, that principle is giving. Many people have negative experiences and misconceptions surrounding tithing and giving, but we often forget that the amount is not what matters most. Whether we are giving to God or sowing into others, the sincerity, love and obedience behind our giving is what counts. Love looks for opportunities to give!

I invite you to watch this clip from one of my sermons. Then ask yourself some questions. For instance, are you putting God first, or just slipping Him a spiritual IOU. Be honest with yourself, and open to change as God shows you how to love Him by honoring His Word.
