What does it take for us, as believers, to live out the joy-filled life God has promised? In the midst of the storms life brings, is it really possible to be at peace?
Proverbs 19:3 says, “People ruin their lives by their own foolishness and then are angry at the Lord.” But far too many believers are walking around angry at God because things just aren’t going right and it seems like God doesn’t hear our prayers. And instead of trying to align our lives with God’s word and be obedient, we continue to do things our way and expect God to open the floodgates of heaven or operate on our timetable.
Once we step under God’s authority, we have access to that supernatural power that can transform our hearts and lives forever. God wants to shower us with his love and blessings so our joy can be restored, but we must walk in accordance with his perfect will and not on our own terms. As Matthew 6:33 says, “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. we must seek him first and everything else will fall in line.
God is not sitting around waiting to punish us for our missteps and messes, but it is our duty as believers and followers of his word to serve him wholeheartedly.
If you desire to learn exactly what it’s going to take for your joy to be restored, I encourage you to get a copy of my teaching titled “How to Get Your Joy Back.” It’s about the significance of obedience and the role it plays in unleashing God’s blessings in your life. I’ll also reveal the 3-step process you should follow to get back on the right path God has destined for you.
Make the decision to be obedient to God’s word so your joy can be restored.
God bless you!
Living in Grace and Peace,
