About Dr. Grier

Dr. Grier has also served as the Senior Editor of BothSides Newsletter, an annual insert into the Washington Post that was one of the largest secularly targeted, faith-based magazines in the United States. He has had numerous invitations to the White House and has met with Heads of State and Christian leaders from around the world. He has been given numerous awards, including the Strathmore’s, Who’s Who honor, and the 2005 Defender of Marriage Award.
Dr. Grier is a professor at Northern Virginia Bible College. He has become a prominent voice in the Washington, DC metropolitan area through his daily Ministry Minute and Grace For Today TV and Radio broadcasts which are beginning to expand both nationally and internationally.
Dr. Grier and his wife, Yeromitou reside in Northern Virginia and have two sons, Derek Jr. and David.
