God has miracles with your name on them! This year can be your year to receive! Although things may not always appear miraculous, we must trust that God is constantly working. He has something bigger and better for you, but biblical patience – waiting on God’s timing – is required.

In this life, no one is immune to problems. No matter your status in life or in the Kingdom, you will experience difficulties. Yet, the key to getting impossible prayers answered is by professing Jesus’ love in spite of the misfortunes and challenges you are facing.

Why?

Your response in the midst of your crisis determines whether God will release a Word from Heaven in your situation.

God’s Word is powerful, but your attitude and willingness to wait for God to move in your life will manifest the goodness He has for you. God’s Word is truly worth the wait!

Of course, you can ask for what you want, but you must be ok with the fact that God may not answer the way you want. He knows us better than we know ourselves and many times, His answer is based on His desire to bless you with even greater or to help you realize that what you are going through is not necessarily about you.

It’s for the glory of God.

How many times have you heard, “It’s not about you”? It’s a hard saying, but true nonetheless! Our lives belong to God and what happens to them should be entrusted to Him. Yes, bad things will happen…but that’s when God’s best work is seen, shining through the darkness. You sometimes have to face things you never thought God would let happen in order to be promoted.

You may be asking, “If Jesus loves me, why does He seem so far away when I need Him the most?” The old saying, ‘The teacher is always quiet during the test’ comes to mind. This simply means that you will not always understand the test until it is over and God starts explaining things.

I want to encourage you, today, to wait on God in the middle of your tests.

We must remember that although the challenges in our lives are real, they are never permanent. God has something bigger and better in store for you and if you exercise biblical patience, you’ll eventually experience triumph!

The Bible says that God’s promises are ‘yay’ and ‘amen’ and they are truly worth waiting for!
